About

Hi, I'm a UBC Computer Engineering grad, and I currently work as an ML Engineer. I like to ground product work with research and its underlying literature. I work on LLM reliability, confidence estimation, and selective prediction. I'm especially interested in when language models should trust their own answers, when they should abstain, and how to evaluate those decisions in a way that matters in real systems.

My work sits between research and applied ML engineering. I like building systems, but I care most when they are measurable, grounded, and robust.
